I'm hanging out at the bay city state park this morning, as I only have a 40 mile ride today (a nice break from the several long days I've had recently). Figured I could post a bit about what gear I brought on my trip. I don't have exact weights right now, I may do that when I pass through MN. This is my sleeping gear. Short length ground pad (ridge rest), summer weight sleeping bag (Helios 55, long), and a lightweight bivy sack (rei minimalist, long). The bag and bivy pack down into that little stuff sack, and the pad rolls up in the outer inside of my rear bag to act as a kind off internal frame for it.
